Interior Acoustics
With decades of experience creating inspiring spaces, we know that the acoustics within a building should always be a key consideration in any interior design. From reducing noise levels in shared open spaces to creating privacy for confidential conversations, a design must adequately address group and individual acoustic needs on a tailored basis to ensure a design is as functional as it is stylish.
The acoustic solution required will of course differ from project to project. Some of the interior acoustics we’ve recently specified include:
- Acoustic Panels: Designed to dampen echo and reverberation and reduce reflected sound by absorbing noise. Often constructed with foam filling, the panels can be attached to a wall or hung from the ceiling.
- Acoustic Baffles: Ceiling or overhead baffles absorb reflected noise bouncing off hard flat walls, floors or ceilings.
- Privacy Booths: Offers privacy within the open plan office environment when the need to make a private or sensitive call is required.
