About project

The TRYP by Wyndham Hotel in Wellington blends Art Deco and Chicago-style architecture. We worked with Safari Group to craft a high end and fun atmosphere throughout the hotel.

The lobby welcomes guests with a refined palette of gold, navy, and deep brown, paired with natural materials like timber and brass. Sunlit through large windows, the space is grand and inviting, setting the tone for a memorable stay.

Guest rooms continue the theme with black, white, and metallic finishes, softened by rich fabrics and ambient lighting. The design creates a peaceful retreat, balancing bold style with comfort and relaxation.

Throughout the hotel, geometric patterns, statement lighting, artworks and rich textures nod to the 1920s era, a metal-lined lift serves as a dramatic centerpiece wrapped in reflective metallic chain. These thoughtful details bring the space to life, making TRYP a standout destination in Wellington.
