About project
The interior fitout for The Golf Lounge creates an indoor golf and hospitality venue in Auckland, inspired by the classic clubhouse. The layout brings together simulator bays, a putting green, a bar and lounge, and a pro shop, so guests can move easily from playing to relaxing.
Rich timber joinery is used throughout, from the reception and pro shop shelving to the curved walls that guide guests through the space. Deep green panelled walls, tartan wall finishes and framed golf artwork add to the heritage clubhouse feel and create a warm, intimate atmosphere.

A textured green tile bar front with a dark stone counter top anchors the lounge, with ribbed glass pendants above. Curved banquette seating in burgundy and heavy velvet drapes add softness and colour. The drapes also let the simulator bays be closed off for privacy while keeping the venue open and connected.
